Week 1: Penguin Awareness Day

Did you know....January 20th is Penguin Awareness Day? I decided to celebrate this day by starting work on hat number 1: A penguin hat, complete with wings that serve as ear flaps. Too cute. I started knitting it in the car on the way to Chicago to see Jim Henson's Fantastic World at the Museum of Science and Industry. It was so great, I got some knitting done and I got to introduce the Squeaker to the wonderful world of Muppets! I hope to have the hat done today, pictures to follow!
